Hey guys,
In college I was asked to create a character based on a Scottish historical figure, and with that 4 panels to display the understanding of composition and scale.
So I decided to go against the 4 panels and do my own kind of panels, comic panels.
I made a mini 5 page comic book (I printed it out and stapled it together like a real manga) of a scene in the war.
Andrew Moray was one of the most important characters in the war on Scottish Independence.
He was captured with his father and imprisoned. He later escaped and kept fighting in the north of Scotland.
He then joined arms with the very famous William Wallace and fought and won a battle. In this battle there were only hundreds of Scottish soldiers and thousands of English soldiers and the Scottish won.
It is believed that Andrew was the brains behind the victory, but he was harmed in battle and died shortly after at the young age of 27.
Here I displayed the story set in an alternate universe in a future setting.

Sir, I'm only just stumbling upon this, but I gotta say I really enjoyed this little mini series, even if it was just 5 pages! This reminds me of when I made a comic book for assignment last year(only mine was on Greek Mythology, not nearly as good as this lol). This was an awesome read! 
Also, have you ever thought of making your own comic? I'm not talking about DBNG, I mean like with your own style and characters, cuz you're clearly skilled in that aspect.
